Shipping

 

All orders are usually shipped within 3-5 working days from confirmation of order, subject to availability of stock and receipt of payment. Orders placed over weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day. Once the order is shipped you will receive an e-mail confirming shipment including any tracking information if applicable. All items purchased from Red Ivory Trading are made pursuant to agreements with shipping and delivery agents and risk of loss pass from Red Ivory Trading to such agents upon delivery of any item to such carrier.

 

Depending on the size and urgency of the shipment we can either arrange a courier service, air freight, LCL (Less than container load) sea freight or a full container load. All of our shipments are fumigated for 24 hours with Methyl Bromide and will be accompanied with a fumigation certificate and where required for a specific wood species, an export permit as well.

Because of the varied nature of wood, we cannot guarantee consistency of colour or figuring and cannot be held responsible for any damage during shipping. Having said that, we want to have satisfied customers and are willing to discuss any reasonable request for replacement of or compensation for wood that does not meet our customers' expectations.
